Today I happened to have the misfortune of listening to something that really disturbed me and got me thinking. As I was flipping through my radio stations I came across the Dr. Turkey-neck show and listen to a young woman who was calling to get advice from her. She stated she had been with her current boyfriend of 5 years since the age of 18 and her sexual appetite had extinguished. She wasn’t horny anymore. She wanted to know why she was feeling this way even though she still loves her boyfriend and was looking for advice on what to do about it.
To my surprise, Dr. Turkey-neck gave her the worst advice possible and set her up for a bad break up and possibly ruined any future relationship she might have. (more…)

My ex has another girlfriend but says he wants to be with me
Q:
Hi, I’m 19 and I need help getting over an ex. We went to the same high school and were friends all four years and were dating for the past three years of my life. In March of this year my best friend told me that she was talking to a mutual friend of ours who I have known since I was eight, has been hooking up with my ex for the past four months of our relationship. I confronted him and he admitted to it so I dumped him. He then has been having a relationship with that same person but has been constantly telling me that he loves me. He comes over to surprise me, texts me and calls me all the time, talks to me about when we get married (not anytime soon!) etc. I need help realizing we aren’t meant to be. Every time he seems to find someway to make me think I’m supposed to be with him, but once he leaves I feel like an idiot. Also, if you could let me know why he is doing this too? His parents are divorced and have been since he was 12 and he doesn’t talk about why they split up. He just says he isn’t sure. He says he loves me and misses me and I don’t know what to do. Also whenever he talks about us he always says we’ll be together I say no we won’t you have a girlfriend he always just says; me and her won’t be together for long but doesn’t go into details. He also says if they get into one more stupid fight they’ll split up but they’ve had a lot of fights and nothing. :/ help. I feel pathetic I just need someone to tell me I am haha 🙂 sorry for typos too I’m on my iPod and it’s not cooperating thank you!

A new study by at the National Institutes of Health and other institutions was recently released in regards to “that time of the month”.
The study states:
“Many women experience premenstrual syndrome, or PMS, which includes a wide-range of symptoms such as mood swings, bloating and cramping in the days during and leading up to menstruation. But these symptoms can intensify when a woman is under severe stress during the two weeks before menstruation begins, according to the study which was published online in the Journal of Women’s Health earlier this summer.” (more…)

It’s important to choose people while doing activities you enjoy because that guarantees that you both will have something in common right from the beginning. To go a step further, let me specify that a better idea is to meet people that are doing activities that show traits you might be looking for in a mate and start thinking more long-term rather than short-term. Well this guys (is 25 acts like an 18yr old and I’m 20) is well known in my area (he is a club promoter) so therefore he claims he doesn’t want a GF, me and him met and we were mad cool but he was always “oh I know u got other guys besides me” (he probably seen me on facebook flirting) but I stopped talking to the other guys because I liked him.. he got mad girls after him and I never even pressed him about any girl because we didn’t go out and I know he didn’t like it so I didn’t sweat him but him on the other hand would do that to me, he would see me with a guy, or flirting and stuff and he’ll stop texting and calling for 2 weeks and then bring it up in a sarcastic way acting like he didn’t care (well if u don’t care why you pressing me?) He’ll hang up every time I told him something straight up, because he’s used to girls giving him the sweet talk and NOT me because I’m going to tell him whatever I feel like so we was on and off, hooked up like 3-4 time no sex though, then it started falling off no more calls barely text each other and stuff but when we seen each other at a club we would say hi and keep it moving because he think he’s too cool for the crowd so I had to act brand new too, so my thing is that I don’t know what the hell he wants because the other day we were talking on the phone and out of nowhere he was like oh “a lil bird told me you got a new boo” (somehow he always finds out) but why he worry about who I talk to or not? If he ain’t there someone else will right? And I don’t question him about his joints though…is like he comes and go and I’m always here even though he says I treat him like I don’t like him (I have to because think he the shit) I’m here at any given time waiting on his ass…what can I do?
