Refresh rate: 120Hz
Brand: Vizio is my favorite because it’s affordable and it’s also good quality.
Size: 37″ and above for a bedroom and 50″ and above for a living room.
Other things to keep in mind is to buy an LED LCD TV if you can afford it. If you can’t, a regular LCD will be fine as long as you follow the above guideline.
Other brands that are also good are; Sony, Samsung, LG.

If your man is in need of a new laptop, this is the one for him. Main things to keep in mind when purchasing a laptop are simple;
Memory: 4Gigs and above
Hard Drive: 320GB and above
Processor: Intel core i5 or core i7
Screen Size: 13″-15″ – I recommend somewhere in the mid size range, the reason is because if you buy the biggest screen size it will eat up more battery life and it’s more expensive.
Brands: HP, Dell, and Sony are really the only brands I stick with. you can also buy an Apple laptop but the price will more than double for the same specs.
If you can buy a laptop that has at least those specs or more, you really can’t go wrong. Other things to keep in mind are, webcam, memory card reader, HDMI output and USB ports. Also, the stitching on the jersey says a lot. Mainly the numbers and names of the players are actually stitched to the jersey and not just slapped on the shirt. If you’re just looking for a good affordable point and shoot camera to give your man this Christmas, this is the one for you. I love Canon and have had the best experience with them. One thing I love about this camera is the ability to take night pictures. I’ve tried other brands and for some reason when it comes to taking pictures at parties or low lighting conditions, they just don’t cut it and it doesn’t matter what setting you put it on they always come out too dark or blurry. Based on my experience I’ve always recommended my friend and family to go with this particular camera and they have always been pleased with the results. This is why I also recommend it to you.
Things to keep in mind are resolution; 10 mega pixels and above is good. This camera also shoots high definition video and has a HDMI output too. This allows you to hook up your camera to your high definition TV and get the best possible quality out of it. When it comes to buying a navigation system one of the most important things to keep in mind is the screen size. You want to buy the biggest possible screen size you can afford. Also the brad is important, because you want a reliable brand that has a good reputation. My two favorite ones is TomTom and Garmin. Another thing to keep in mind and the main difference between the cheaper ones and the more expensive ones is the extra features it provides.
As you know, they’re constantly building new freeways and making new streets everywhere, so you want a navigation system that provides free map updates. Also you want a navigation system that will have free traffic updates just in case there’s a traffic jam somewhere it can redirect you through an alternative route and get you home safe and fast. Yes, The Xbox 360. If your man loves Halo, this is the one for him. In case you don’t know Halo is a video games that’s only made for Xbox 360 which means this is the console he wants. Make sure you get as much memory as you can afford. A good choice is 250GB which is the standard size and the ideal one too. In case you’re not familiar with a kindle, this is a device where you can download ebooks and read them where ever you go. It can store something like 3,500 ebooks in it, that’s a lot. I recommend the one above because the price is right and also because it offers free 3G which means you can download any book anywhere you are with out the need to pay a monthly fee for wireless internet, it’s already included. This is also one of the first brands of ebook readers which means that they know what they’re doing. Again, buy whatever fits your budget but the next one up has a bigger screen and it’s also twice the price. I would stay with this one, it has all the same internal features but it’s half the price. A Blu-Ray player is something all guys want because we always love the best quality picture we can get on our TVs. That’s the reason we love high definition TV’s, HD channels and movies. This is important because blueray players are constantly getting updates from the internet and this will make it a lot easier to get the updates without the need of annoying wires. There’s usually a division between Xbox lovers and PS3 lovers. I myself happen to love PS3. The main reason why I love it is because I’m not into Halo, which is the main significant difference between the two. If your man is a photography hobbyist or he’s always been wanting to buy a good camera so that he can get that professional looks he’s been looking for, this is the camera for him. I love Canon and really the only other brand for professional cameras is Nikon. So there you have it, the best semi-professional camera for a beginner. keep in mind that a professional camera can cost you $5,000 or more and you really don’t want to spend that kind of money when you’re first starting or if this is only a hobby.
