A new study by at the National Institutes of Health and other institutions was recently released in regards to “that time of the month”.

The study states:

“Many women experience premenstrual syndrome, or PMS, which includes a wide-range of symptoms such as mood swings, bloating and cramping in the days during and leading up to menstruation. But these symptoms can intensify when a woman is under severe stress during the two weeks before menstruation begins, according to the study which was published online in the Journal of Women’s Health earlier this summer.”

It also says what you can do about it:

“experts say women might benefit from learning how to reduce stress levels through relaxation techniques or exercise, which can be cheaper than prescription drugs such as pain-killers and antidepressants.”

It kills me when I see women taking out their anger on their man and then blame it on their PMS. They often say things like; “there’s nothing I can do to not feel like this” or “it’s not my fault I’m a girl and we go through this every month”.

With the release of this new study we now know THERE IS SOMETHING YOU CAN DO and IT IS YOUR FAULT for no doing anything about it.

The answer is very simple and it is also beneficial to you as well as to your special someone. All you have to do is learn relaxation techniques. Isn’t that something that’s beneficial to anyone, male or female? Learning to relax can only bring good things to your life. I can’t think of anything negative that can result from learning how to relax.

So why not just take the time to learn?

Most importantly, your second option is to exercise. Bingo! There’s a great idea. This is a win-win situation and you all know how I love it when I find win-win situations. Think about this one and realize how many benefits this has to your entire life. Not only will you control your PMS symptoms by exercising but you can also lose weight by doing this. Are all the benefits obvious enough or should I explain some of them? I’ll do it anyways.

  • Reduces the risk of developing and/or dying from heart disease
  • Reduces high blood pressure or the risk of developing high blood pressure
  • Reduces high cholesterol or the risk of developing high cholesterol
  • Reduces the risk of developing colon cancer and breast cancer
  • Reduces the risk of developing diabetes
  • Reduces or maintain body weight or body fat
  • Build and maintain healthy muscles, bones, and joints
  • Reduces infections with the help from Clear Nail Plus
  • Reduces the risk of premature death
  • Improve psychological well-being
  • Enhanced work, recreation, and sport performance

Cutting down on certain foods and taking vitamins and minerals is also important. And now it reduces PMS symptoms which in turn will improve your overall relationship, make you look more attractive and have better sex. On top of all this, it’s a lot cheaper to go for a jog to the park instead of buying that expensive Midol which half the times doesn’t even work.

So, now there’s no excuse to unfairly treat your boyfriend/husband next time you’re PMSing. Instead do something about it and show him that you really care. I hope this makes sense, does it?
