Is my boyfriend really coming back to marry me?

Is my boyfriend really coming back to marry me? post image

I have been with this guy on and off for the last seven years and we got back together in November of last year and he was talking about getting married as soon as we got back together we even applied for the marriage license picked out the rings and the date. He went to visit his family several states away and his daughter and now I was just told by a buddy of his that my guy told him that he is not coming back but then my guy is telling me he is and I’m just so confused, please help!

In my opinion a relationship that’s “on and off” is not one that’s worthy of keeping, let alone taking it to the next level. It is wrong to have the mind set that marrying someone will make the relationship better. Lots of people seem to think that when you marry someone everything magically turns into a fairy tale and it’s all fun and games.

It’s not

The truth is, if a relationship is rocky while there’s no real commitment such as marriage, chances are it will continue to be rocky after the fact. Sometimes it even gets worse. Many women seem to feel a sense of entitlement after marriage and tend to be a little bit more demanding when it comes to telling their man what to do and it can cause the marriage to end sooner.

The easiest thing to do in this situation and my advice is to think and evaluate if you have reason to believe your boyfriends is lying? Does he have a history of lying to you? Who do you trust more, him or his buddy? After answering this questions to yourself, I think you’ll be able to figure out if he’s coming back or not.

In addition, I believe a marriage license has an expiration date and if I’m not mistaken they’re only good for 90 day, at least in my state. What you should do if you don’t have any valid reason to doubt him is just wait till the marriage license expires while at the same time continuing to have a relationship with him. Remind him that it will expire soon, so that later he has no excuse of not knowing it would, and if he doesn’t come back before that time you’ll know he never had the intentions of doing so in the first place. At that point cut all contact with him and consider the relationship dead for good.

Hope this helps and good luck.

obviously, this guy is in no way shape or form giving his 100 percent to the relationship, while you sit hundreds of miles away awaiting for his decision, why would you do that, if you value yourself then you should let him know that he is lucky to be with you and that you will not just sit and wait for him, i totally agree with the last honest guy, i just put my 2 cents in.
